You can look up Tesla Robotaxi LLC in a public Texas file. You don't need an account. The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles put the Automated Motor Vehicle Operator Lookup on the Texas Motor Carrier Credentialing System at txmccs.txdmv.gov/automated-vehicles. On 31 August 2026 that file showed Cybercab listings under Tesla Robotaxi LLC: seven at first, then forty-five the same day.

Step by step
- Open the public lookup
Go to the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles' Automated Motor Vehicle Operator Lookup at txmccs.txdmv.gov/automated-vehicles. You don't need an account or a login.
- Search by operator
Choose the search type, then enter at least four characters of the operator's information, such as Tesla Robotaxi LLC. If a search returns more than 100 entries, you only see the most recent.
- Read the result
A returned row shows an authorization holder and the vehicles it has attached to that authorization. A listing is an authorization to operate commercially, not proof that a passenger paid a fare.
- Check the law behind it
Read the rules on txdmv.gov/AVprogram. Senate Bill 2807's authorization requirements became enforceable on 28 May 2026.
