Electric trucks hauling freight between states will need megawatt chargers, says a report for ARENA. We're not talking about a plug for a family hatchback at the shops. We're talking about a highway charging bay, known as MCS, that can push a megawatt or more into a semi-trailer during a driver's required rest break. That's what the road freight report by ARENA and AECOM found when it came out in July 2025.
