Wellington Dam's new A$37 million dual-lane bridge opens

Water Corporation opened the A$37 million Wellington Dam bridge near Collie on 7 October. The 64-metre dual-lane span replaces a 1966 single lane.

Water Corporation opened a new traffic bridge at Wellington Dam, near Collie, on Tuesday 7 October. The A$37 million dual-lane crossing replaces a single-lane bridge built in 1966, and it's built for bigger coaches as well as cars. Beside the traffic lanes sits a wider pedestrian walkway with a clear view of Guido van Helten's Reflections mural on the dam wall.
