Capcom ID breach exposes 11.8 million email records

Capcom says a hacker got into CAPCOM ID and reached 11,774,247 email and login records worldwide. Passwords were changed on 196 accounts.

Capcom says someone broke into the account system behind its online games and got at more than 11.7 million records. The Japanese publisher behind Resident Evil, Monster Hunter and Street Fighter confirmed it on Thursday.
