Twelve million paying dishes. That's the census SpaceX put on 30 June, and it isn't a round number they rounded up to. Second-quarter 2026 results, for the period ended 30 June: 12.0 million Starlink subscribers, up 1.7 million sequentially and double the 6.0 million a year earlier. Blended ARPU was $66 a month, unchanged from Q1.

Twelve million at 30 June, up 1.7 million in the quarter and double the 6.0 million a year earlier, is a census, not a round number. Connectivity at $4.3 billion and company revenue at $7.8 billion sit in the same release as the $541 million net loss. ARPU holding at $66 while enterprise and government grew 108 percent is the unromantic half of that dish count.
