Rivian R2 drives record 19,248 deliveries in third quarter

Rivian delivered a record 19,248 vehicles in the September quarter, with the R2 now its best seller. Revenue rose 38% to US$2.155 billion.

Rivian has just had its biggest quarter yet, and the car doing the heavy lifting is the new R2. The American electric vehicle maker delivered a record 19,248 vehicles in the three months to 30 September, and it says the smaller, cheaper R2 is now its best seller.
