BYD overseas set the record

BYD's overseas sales hit a record 189,466 in August 2026, up 134.45% on a year earlier and about 43% of its 440,293 new energy vehicle sales.

BYD's August tape put the export engine in the headline. The group sold 440,293 new-energy vehicles in August 2026, up 17.84% year on year, and overseas deliveries hit a record 189,466 — up 134.45% year on year and about 43% of the month.
