NASA’s far-side mark is 252,756 miles. Apollo 13 held 248,655. Closest approach 4,067 miles from the far-side surface. Wiseman, Glover, Koch, Hansen, 1 to 10 April, first crew to the Moon since 1972. Harrison Schmitt on that dais is the last-mission witness, not a fifth name on the ribbon.
