Stanford Medicine has given the world's first commercial dose of Orca-T, a blood-cancer transplant therapy born in its own labs more than twenty years ago. The Stanford Cancer Institute said on Tuesday 7 October that the infusion went to a patient with high-risk leukemia as routine care, not as part of a clinical trial. The patient isn't named.
