RTX Spark laptops hit preorder as Windows opens to AI agents

NVIDIA RTX Spark laptops, led by Microsoft's US$2,599 Surface Laptop Ultra, are on preorder and ship 16 October. Windows is opening up to AI agents too.

NVIDIA's RTX Spark chip finally has a ship date, and Microsoft's given AI agents a proper home in Windows to go with it. At a joint event in San Francisco on Wednesday 7 October, US time, the two companies opened preorders for the first RTX Spark laptops. Leading the pack is Microsoft's own Surface Laptop Ultra, from US$2,599. The laptops go on sale on Friday 16 October, US time, and compact desktops follow in November.
