Capcom's turning its RE Engine into what programmer Satoshi Ishida calls an "AI-generation game engine." He laid out the plan, under a project called REX, at Capcom Open Conference RE:2026 in Tokyo on Friday, 2 October. Gamebiz, PC Gamer, Video Games Chronicle and Notebookcheck all reported on the talk.
