Blue Origin gets the Mars radio

NASA has awarded Blue Origin a contract worth up to about US$700 million for the Mars Telecommunications Network. The orbiter's due by 31 December 2028.

NASA just handed Blue Origin the Mars radio. The agency announced on Tuesday, 1 September, that it awarded Blue Origin a firm-fixed-price contract, maximum potential value about US$700 million, to develop the Mars Telecommunications Network.
