Brisbane's Beams Road goes four lanes as Stage 1B wraps up

Main works on Brisbane's Beams Road Stage 1B are done. It's now four lanes through Fitzgibbon for the more than 20,000 vehicles that use it every day.

Brisbane's Beams Road is now four lanes through Fitzgibbon. Federal Infrastructure Minister Catherine King and Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner said on Friday 2 October that main road works on the Beams Road Stage 1B upgrade are complete. The road between Carselgrove Avenue and Handford Road has gone from two lanes to four.
