Anthropic bans sustained cruelty toward Claude in new policy

Anthropic will treat sustained, needless cruelty toward Claude as a Usage Policy breach from 12 November. Most other changes tighten existing rules.

Anthropic has added a new line to the rules for using Claude, and this one's about how you treat the model itself. From 12 November, "sustained and needless abusive or cruel behavior" toward Anthropic's models breaks the company's Usage Policy.
