AMD has started handing out samples of its Versal AI Core XQRVC1902, a space-grade adaptive chip in a new package built to survive missions lasting up to 15 years. The company announced the milestone on Thursday 1 October in an AMD newsroom release, saying the parts are now with early access customers.
