Russell Crowe's documentary What Love Builds lands on the Lido out of competition as Venice Open, a 99-minute Australian concert-and-memory film about his band Indoor Garden Party. La Biennale's public programme puts ticketed screenings on Friday 11 September 2026 at 21:00 in Sala Darsena and Saturday 12 September at 12:00 in Sala Giardino. Pass holders get the press–industry slot earlier: Thursday 10 September at 14:00 in Sala Volpi.
