Trump scraps livestream of Nidal Hasan's execution

After criticism from both parties, Trump says Hasan still faces an Army firing squad at Fort Hood on 3 December, but the execution won't be streamed.

Nidal Hasan's execution won't be livestreamed after all. President Donald Trump called off the Pentagon's plan on Thursday, US time, after a week of criticism from Republicans, Democrats, church leaders and one of the soldiers Hasan shot.
