Tesla's Cybercab is carrying paying passengers. The two-seat robotaxi has no steering wheel and no pedals, and it opened to the public in Austin, Texas, through Tesla's Robotaxi app on Friday 4 September 2026. Tesla's wider Robotaxi service, which mostly uses Model Y cars, now runs in seven US metro areas.
