If you pay your tax with a credit card, you've had a bumpy couple of weeks. On 1 October the Australian Taxation Office said it'd stop taking credit cards within weeks. Then on 9 October, after a backlash and an offer of government money, it said it'll keep taking them until 30 June 2027.
