Adrian Portelli's LMCT+ station at Edwardstown sold unleaded for 99c a litre on Saturday 17 October. Adelaide's average was about $2.36 the week before.

Hundreds of Adelaide drivers spent part of Saturday sitting in a queue on Daws Road. At the end of it was unleaded petrol for 99 cents a litre, well under half what most of the city was paying.
