NASA astronaut Jessica Meir and ESA astronaut Sophie Adenot spent 6 hours and 49 minutes outside the International Space Station on Tuesday, 1 September 2026. They finished US spacewalk 99 at 3:29 p.m. Eastern. NASA's station blog listed the jobs that afternoon. They put a new retroreflector on Harmony's forward port, swapped a high-definition camera on the truss, swabbed the outside for microorganisms, partly installed jumper cables and started preparing for a future radiator replacement on the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer.
