Korean banks got an AI hacking warning weeks before breaches
South Korea's Financial Security Institute showed bank staff an AI agent hack on 17 September. Within two weeks, seven financial firms had been breached.

South Korea's financial security agency showed bank security staff how an AI agent had hacked a local lender, weeks before hackers used AI tools to steal customer data from seven Korean financial firms. That's according to documents the agency handed to a lawmaker, whose office made them public on Sunday.
