Amazon is pushing Alexa+ hard, including on its new Alexa tablets, and it's a good moment to check what your smart speaker keeps about you. Every time you say the wake word, a recording of your request goes to Amazon's cloud, and it stays linked to your account until it's deleted, by you or by an automatic setting. Amazon's own privacy page also says that when you join Alexa+, a feature that lets Alexa keep listening for follow-up requests gets switched on for your compatible devices.
