Channel small boat arrivals reach 20,935 this year

Home Office figures show 20,935 people crossed the Channel in small boats by 8 October. That is down 41 per cent on the same period of 2025.

At least 20,935 people have crossed the English Channel to Britain in small boats so far this year, according to Home Office figures published on Friday, 9 October.
