Bathurst 1000: Kostecki wins as De Pasquale runs out of fuel

Brodie Kostecki and Todd Hazelwood won Sunday's Bathurst 1000 after leader Anton De Pasquale ran out of fuel on the final lap at Mount Panorama.

The 2026 Bathurst 1000 in New South Wales was decided on the very last lap, and not by a pass anyone saw coming. Anton De Pasquale was leading the Great Race at Mount Panorama on Sunday 11 October when his Team 18 Chevrolet ran out of fuel on Mountain Straight, and Brodie Kostecki swept past to win with co-driver Todd Hazelwood.
